. If you continue to insist I believe in Jesus, it is only fair I may ask of you to show just how strong your faith is. After all, you would be my “mentor” in Christ. I’m not a believer as of yet, but surely you are. Would you mind perhaps resurrecting a dead relative or walking on water?

You obviously are familiar with the Bible... so let me refer you to 2 Timothy 2: 23 - 26. Are you looking to understand or are you looking to pick an arguement??? You're looking for a demonstration of power from God, when you've given him nothing... so assuming he was willing to provide this demonstration, what reason would he have??? Just to impress you... or me... or anyone else???

I'm not even gonna ask you to admit that you believe the Bible... but it is apparent that you recognize it is a distinct possibility... but you refuse to approach it with an open mind and embrace the spiritual message... instead looking to the physical and material side...

I'm sure you've read about the miracle where Jesus fed several thousand with just a few loaves of bread and a couple of fish... and when there was no more food... they left... they were only interested in what he could give them for their bodies...

So he turned to his selected 12 disciples and asked if they were going to leave too... and they responded with "where would we go??? you have the words of eternal life"

So, my friend, what exactly is it that you are after??? Are you just a rabble-rouser or are you really looking for eternal life??? I hope it's the latter, because I've really enjoyed your questions so far.

There was a man in India who went into the mountains to study and be enlightened. When he returned 20 years later, he met his brother beside the river.

The brother asked what he had learned. The man walked across the river on the surface of the water. The brother went to the nearby ferry and paid to cross.

On the other side the man said, "Well, what did you think?"

The brother replied "You spent 20 years to accomplish what I could do for for 2 rupee."

Even if this was directed towards us in this day and age it is unlikely that anyone has that kind of faith. It is possible that this was directed towards the apostles because they did go out and perform miracles at this time.

I am sorry you got such a bunch of terrible answers I hope you understand that not all Christians are unwilling to try and answer you questions.

Jesus brought to the world change. A change on how we look at life, others, and ourselves. When Jesus healed the wounded, the sick, and the dying it was then society's problems. People back then wanted to see and hear because they cannot phatom what it is to be holy or what it is to change life.

let me ask you, have you recently talked to a friend who needed your comfort? visit the sick? or go to the hospital for a friend/family? Wouldnt you notice that when you go their that they didnt expect, they get "healed" ? Ponder on that. Maybe your not looking in the right places. take off the blinds that cover your eyes. maybe you'll see a different world.

It form of relies upon on what you suspect in. while you're Christian, you will likely say that Jesus took the bigger sacrifice. while you're Greek and is no longer a Christian, you will likely say Prometheus took the bigger sacrifice. We style of would desire to look at in a much better way too. definite, Jesus did have a shorter term of torture than Prometheus did, yet getting nailed to truly wood, then being whipped many times would desire to be, and little doubt is, very VERY painful. Prometheus having to go through longer is right too, yet he in basic terms had his liver eaten with the help of an eagle as quickly as time-honored. i'm one hundred p.c. constructive that obtaining your liver eaten suited out of you is excellent painful, Prometheus in basic terms had to adventure it as quickly as, each and daily, so he had sometime to get better previously his liver have been given eaten as quickly as lower back. and then faith comes alongside lower back. maximum or all Christians would say Jesus because they suspect or think of that he helped them thrive with the help of loss of existence for guy's sins. maximum or all Greeks would say Prometheus because they suspect or think of that he helped them thrive with the help of stealing hearth for mankind's good. i'd say, because i'm no longer Christian nor am I Greek, its style of a tie. Prometheus did go through lots longer than Jesus did, yet in basic terms in short bursts. Jesus did go through lots decrease than Prometheus did, yet had his beating by surprise. Jesus died for our sins, yet now maintains to be through fact the God for a faith and is up interior the heavens suited now over looking all if humanity, "cleansing us of sin" (that is you're sentence I used there!). Prometheus (because he's immortal) remains up ashore on that rock, getting his liver eaten out with the help of an eagle. All nevertheless, in different Greek myths, he ultimately have been given saved be Hercules (or Heracles). It somewhat relies upon on who you're and what you suspect in. So there somewhat is not any telling of who made the bigger sacrifice, Jesus or Prometheus. wish this helped!
