They're the Presidents daughters! Get real. It's a volunteer military, so the question should be: Why aren't every parent's daughters fighting in the Iraq invasion? I think the question is more from a dislike of Bush than you really wanting to know why they're not in Iraq.

Why aren't you.

I would, but am to old to join. I have a son that has been in Iraq for two tours. By the way, he choose the army over college. He thought it was the right thing to do.

My son did not choose the military because he came from a poor family, because he didn't. He felt that serving his country was the proper thing for him. He has served proudly under Clinton and Bush. He feels it is not the presidents military, it is Americas.

This question has been posted before, and I don't understand the logic behind it.
If one of your parent's did something others didn't agree with, would that make responsible for their actions? It's the same concept. His daughter's have no say so in how he runs the United States, and they had no say in his choice to go to war in Iraq.
His daughter's have the same rights as we do when it comes to deciding rather or not they want to join the Military.

Brilliant did you think that silly question up on your own? They have secret service protection for a reason. Let's put a couple of high profile targets out there to be kidnapped. I really have no opinion on them at all, but I find it funny that people that don't like Bush bring his family into it. I never liked Clinton, but sure as #@$% never talked about his daughter.

Because they chose not to enlist. That is one of the freedoms gained by military men and women of this country, just like the right to ask rediculous questions.
