Absolutely. A few parlor tricks and he's the messiah! Chris Angel would have inspired even more chris(angel)tians if he lived 2000 years ago.
Not to totally bash the guy; I believe he lived and ultimately died a horrible death, but the Jesus freaks of the world (and you all know who you are!) have really made me hate to hear anything this preacher did in his life...

Well, sure, He'd be overrated if He weren't real, but the historical evidence for His existence is overwhelming. Do a Google search for biblical archaeology and the Dead Sea Scrolls and you'll see that this "Jesus" character is more than just an ancient fantasy. Drop me a line at chad@jesusfreak.com if you'd like to talk.

Overrated? Abso-freaking-lutely. It's not like he's been the only one to try the whole "messiah" rap either.
Besides, what has Jesus done for me?
I mean, lately?
Jesus Shmesus.

i'm in no way in a position to place in writing for days immediately, it constantly finally ends up dwindling into pathetic observe vomit, so in case you sense like it is occurring to you only step away for a pair of days (or weeks), so as that whenever you come back back you're desirous to place in writing lower back and characteristic sparkling concepts and perspective.

Don't look at him look at what he taught, it changed the world for all time for the better. He has had more impact than any person in history on the world.
If you could do that do you think it would be overrated?

Well, let's see...
He assisted God in the creation of Earth, animals and mankind, He came to earth to die so that you, me and the rest of the world wouldn't have to (if we let Him save us from sin), he restored sight to the blind, limbs to those who had lost them, healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead, and today there is so much power in His name, that if we have faith we can do the same. I was born dead, the doctor tried to save me and finally stepped back and shook his head, but my dad prayed over me and said "In the name of JESUS CHRIST be healed", immidately after he had spoken the name Jesus, color returned to my body and I coughed. One women in the bible was healed simply by touching the hem of Jesus' garment. Jesus Christ is not a great prophet, teaher, magician, He is God, and He's going to return someday with all that power still belonging to Him, to judge each and every person for their actions, whether they are good or evil, and each will recieve their just wages.
Do you know of anybody else who can do or has ever done that?
So I would conclude, that, no, Jesus Christ isn't overrated, rather He is worthy of all the praise we can give Him, and more. He is worthy of your life.
Repent, forsake sin, ask Jesus to be your Savior. Salvation is for everyone, and it isn't just a game, a security blanket, a myth, it's real, it's life and without it, there will be nothing left in the end to hold onto, nothing in this world lasts forever, God does and, through Him, your soul can too.
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing fo the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a pecular people, zealous of good works." Titus 2:11-14
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Definitely. At best, Jesus was nothing more than an over-hyped magician, and that's if he even existed in the first place!

Yes. He taught a bunch of psycho babble Hegelian dielectic crap mixed in with a bit of pre-existing nice sounding fluff - assuming the words attributed to him in the BIble are accurate (which I seriously doubt).
