if i want to stay single, some guy wants to date me but i just don't feel ready. He told me that i'm crazy for wanting to be single, how can that be?

First of all, consider the source of his ridiculous comment.
Without knowing the particulars, this guy sounds very shallow and insecure.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be single.
Don't date anyone if you don't feel ready, as you said.
You are NOT crazy for wanting to be single!!
You have a right to be free, and experience life!!!
Sometimes I hate being a guy...
because I have to share my gender with
jerks.. (and I want to use stronger words, but I won't)

No, you are not crazy. It's just that you need your space right now and are comfortable being single. Not many people are and that's why they are in such messed up relationships. They would rather be with the wrong person just so they won't have to be alone. I think if you were attracted to this guy you would have no reservations whatsoever about dating him. If he's not willing to respect your decision about not wanting to date right now then just ignore him. He would be exhibiting traits of a jackass and you really don't need that either. When you are ready to date you'll know and you'll have no problem finding someone to go out with. Kudos to you for standing your ground. Have fun, sweetie!

Well, when you say single to mean that you will not have an exclusive relationship but will still be dating, or do you mean that you will not be dating anyone? You can still date lots of people and be single. I think it's okay... how else are you supposed to meet the right person? It sounds like the guy is jealous and wants to keep you to himself.

I wouldn't say your crazy, at the end of the day its your choice and when ur ready you'll want to date. As for me i've finally found love and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, i couldn't imagine being single again.

i totally agree with jacquelinebrns, the last thing u r is crazy. i am single rite now 2, and i'm perfectly fine with that because even tho i do think some guys i no r cute, and rather get to know them better first b4 i date them

You are not crazy hon. Possesive relationships are the pitts. If you resist coupley relationships and just work on honesty and commitment to the people you love's happiness, some day you will probably find that you already have a deeper relationship than most couples.

I am simgal and i dont think you crazy for want that right now in your life. I date guy but there are those who keep asking you out and your like not right now, but when it the right time to date again you'll know and when the right guy ask u out you'll know. Just belive in yourself and you find the answer to all that..
