You didn't evolve from a cat, or a fish, or a monkey, or an elephant or a dog, or a cat, or a scorpion, etc. If you make this claim, you do NOT understand evolution at all. Evolution ONLY makes this statement: "it is likely that we all came from a common ancestor" (and that needs to be modified because it is now KNOWN that there are MULTIPLE pathways to the existence of life!). If you study DNA and learn how a change in the DNA sequence leads to changes in an organism over time, you will understand why evolution is not a myth, it is a reality, and GOD made the life on this Earth that way - your denial of it does NOT make it unreal. You don't have to believe in evolution, but at the very least, understand what it is before you deny it exists. However, it DOES exist, whether you like it or not and is essential to understanding how to defeat microorganisms with new drugs by staying one step ahead of their EVOLUTION and ADAPTATION to new antibiotics. Learn about DNA, or stop making comments that prove that when it comes to the SCIENTIFIC concept of evolution and not the RELIGIOUS concept of evolution that you don't know what you are talking about. It makes you look arrogant... and foolish. I'm guessing you have absolutely zero education in DNA - am I correct? Don't believe we are "descended" from apes, believe we are "ascended" from apes - after all aren't we an improvement? Don't we have the most amazing brains on Earth? BTW: biologically speaking, we ARE classified as APES. Ask a scientist about evolution and what it really is, and not a preacher that knows zip about genetics. Answer a question about evolution on a Harvard Medical School exam with your point of view and I can guarantee that you will get it marked wrong. Or would you care to tell the some of the smartest doctors in the world that they are wrong? They would laugh you out of the room. Again - you DON'T have to believe in evolution - it will get along fine without you.

Ok, you're suffering and I'll try and ease your pain. What you are really asking is why you suffer from mental illness, correct? Ok, I hope the following helps ease your suffering.
Religious believers are truly blessed with a very special gift.
The violent troubles around our world are clearly associated with various religious factions. Scientists have published details about the “warrior” gene and the “spiritual or religious” gene which shows that certain people are genetically predisposed to violence and/or religion. Scientists have also published that religion could be the result of mental illness. This makes sound sense in our deeply troubled world.
It’s also a well known fact that intellectually handicapped people are often quoted as being the happiest people in the world. They are so blissfully unaware of the true world around them, and see and believe reality to be quite different in their mental worlds.
I think religious people are blessed with a similar “handicapped” gift which would explain why they see and believe in the imaginary world of religion, God and the Bible. I think religious people are also blissfully unaware of reality in their mentally handicapped world. This could help, explain their irrational behaviour.
I truly hope I have helped you in your mental dilemma, and I so hope you are able to embark on an intellectual course of recovery as soon as possible. I'm on your side, take care.

I think the fact you are missing is that this process takes MILLIONS of years, with millions of recombinations of genes to create a completely different creature than what was originally. It's seen in bacteria as well. How do you think bacteria become immune to anti-biotics? Recombination of genes via mutation. You have to understand molecular biology, cellular biology, and genetics to know about evolution.

If evolution is true why are we not getting better, and the country is going down hill instead of up. evolution is suppose to be improving. and with all this scientific knowledge they have supposedly proved why not cure for the common cold... :-)

In your case, you evolved from a lemming. Arguments from stupidity and incredulity are rarely compelling.

it just "things" we gave the names. Nothing permanant. Every thing is an illusion. No reality.
