Christian.

The punishment is the same as for any sin like lying, stealing, etc. And I am sure everyone has sinned before.

You just need to repent and ask for forgivness. Believe in the Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

About the gay thing, I don't think gays deserve punishment because they didn't choose to be gay and it's not their fault.

How would I know? I am gay. I believe in God's word and I ask for forgivness everyday. I pray for God to change me everyday. I don't think I did anything to make myself the way I am and I don't pursue a gay lifestyle.

It just happened along with puberty. Anyway, God is a forgiving and loving God and he will love you no matter what your sexuality is. Period.

~*God loves you!*~

Being gay is not a thing of choice----it is something a person is born with. There should be no punishment. I have read this in many studies, but, was really made aware of it by a child I have known since birth. As a little child, she attended services dressed in pants, and baggy shirts, and more like a boy. She did not have the feminine ''touch''. Her sister dressed as a girl. The parents said the child fussed so about wearing dresses, and was so uncomfortable in them, they let her choose what was best for her. The child is now grown, and she is definitely gay (would you prefer lesbian?) She was what she is since birth. We are Jewish.

I am a Christian and there is no "punishment" for being gay. It is wrong, an abomination according to God, but we are all sinners and deserve punishment. God made a way for us to have forgiveness- the only thing that their will be punishment for is a rebellious heart that to the end absolutely refuses to recognize God and receive the gift He has given us. He has provided mercy, grace, forgiveness and deliverance for us all. Anyone that does not show the love of Christ to anyone else, gay or not, is not walking with the Lord. It does not mean tolerate the sin- sin is never to be tolerated- but we have no right or authority to abuse or bash the sinner in any way. There is always penalty for breaking the law, disobeying the commands of God, this is meant to be disciplinary, turning us away from our sin and pointing us towards Christ, sanctification and freedom from sin and punishment.

I am Christian. I don't believe any punishment is needed for homosexual people because I believe that God created them that way. I also believe that if a person does something wrong, God knows what is in their hearts, and will punish them as he sees fit, regardless of what it is they have done. It isn't for me to decide, except in civic matters, where a stated law has been broken, and where it is my civic duty to evaluate evidence and form a judgement by serving on a jury.

I am a Christian and I don't feel like "Gays" should be punished. Whatever punishment, if any, they deserve it will be given by God. It is not for man to decide UNLESS they mollest children...then they should have their you know what cut off and stuffed up there where the sun don't shine.

I am a Christian.

The punishment for being gay should be the same for all of the sin that I have commited. I am no better than a homosexual and don't have the right to judge. Only God does, and I know enough about myself and God to know that I am certainly not Him.

i don't know what is the punishment to gays in Islam, but i DO know that Islam Deeply Condemn it, and it is a HUGE Sin.
P.S. ........ if i were to give any punishment, i would make them spend a night with whynotaskdon, and by morning they would be Straight as an Arrow.

I am a Christian. The Bible makes it clear that God despises homo-sexuallity. The world and everything in it was created by God and belongs to God. God gives people free will, no matter what causes a person to be homo-sexual, he or she can make the choice to persue the gay life-style or not. it is not the business of other people to punish homo-sexuals for their sin. The Word says that we must love one another. Period. You can hate the sin and love the sinner. Leave punishment up to God.

Hi
I'm a Muslim, punishment for gays should be the same as LOTT's people. This is justice. All the holy books have the same story of LOTT and his bad people.

why punish a law abiding and all around good person just because they gay? How about just punishing bad straight people and call it a day?
