patsey would have been my 2nd great grandmother. she was born in missouri but returned with her father to greeneville tennessee. I don't know who her mother was either please help.

Patsy was born in Missouri and returned to greeneville with her father who I think was Oliver Hardin. Patsy left my 2nd great grandfather Bartly Thompson child also his name was Absolum B. Thompson born 1863. Bartly remarried Evalyn S. Treadway, they had several children. But no one knows what happened to Patsy. It is also berlieved this was the only child they had but in the 1860 census they are listed Bartly, Patsy, Oliver age 2. Did they have more children? Where are they? The census they were in was Green county don't remmember the county. Patsy as I have been told was supposed to be one-half indian..

This looks like Bartley in 1880; if it is, Patsy/Patsey has died (or divorced or deserted, but in 1880 death was far more likely) and he's married a younger woman.
