1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

To people who don't understand the passage....
It's saying that this Jesus fellow will come down from the clouds and all eyes will see him. That's only possible on a flat earth.

Huh?
It was always flat, until man got outside the small box of thinking and saw the world was round.

The shape of the earth in Jesus time was considered flat since no one knows what really is the shape of the earth since the sun which they even thought it was the one moving from east to west. Plus the only navigational thing they can do is through the sea which is impossible for them realize that water will stay on a round earth.
Coming through the clouds can only be the way they can imagine Jesus' coming. But it could in the modern technology we have that they are spaeking of Jesus coming via satellite, through the televisions and the internet. Remember also in Revelation 9:19 where it says that " the power of their horses was in their mouth and in their tails and for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury." Did you see the latest tanks our US Army used in Iraq where it has the ability to fire both in front and rear and the snake like tails are the missiles it can launch and shoot like snake winding to its target?

What are you even talking about? You need to explain your question more. The earth doesn't have to be flat for every eye to see something, especially if God makes it so. If he wanted to, he could make the earth flat one day and round the next!

Or if everyone is sucked up into space with him.
1Th 4:16 (4:15) For the Lord himself shall come down from heaven with commandment and with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God: and the dead who are in Christ shall rise first.
1Th 4:17 (4:16) Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air: and so shall we be always with the Lord.

What has this to do with the shape of the Planet Earth.?
When THE GOD comes HE will not need TV or any devices.
HE will allow ALL to see HIM ! Even the Blind. Simultaneously.
This is NOT too big a job for THE GOD!

Am I missing something? Does the verse from Revelations have anything to do with the question?

Doesn't say flat anywhere. It just means that the only people left will be there.
