I do my part. I'm a Military spouse, and I'm the one that stays behind and raises our children and takes care of every responsibility in our lives when my husband is taken away from home. I make sure he has no worries about home while he is away, therefor he can concentrate on the job he was sent to do.
You make love not war? Who are you, John Lennon? This 2006, not 1969. If they ever do bring back the draft, I hope people like you are the first ones they pick.

1: because I don't want to get shot. I am not mentally able for war.
2: because Iraq might just become another cuba, we free it, they make a worse country.
3: because every time recently that I have said bad things about muslims, I got reported, This site has alot of muslims I believe.

Because I have a heart problem the disqualifies me. Albeit I tried two of my kids my husband dad all 5 of my brothers did, my cousins and countless friends defend this country and the very way of life you live and the freedom to have the right to ask such a question.

Like a few vets before me have said, been there, done that, got the t-shirt.... why the hell aren't you there?!?!?!?!?!?
Because, if you are a smart guy, realize that the war is for power for the Vultures who thirst for blood and oil....
Don't get caught up in the what's right and wrong of it, they want you to do that....If we are truly there for a "higher purpose", then liberating Kuwait was justified ... but If we are so "honorable" then tell me why we left thousands to be "cleansed" in Rwanda??? It's because the powers that be didn't have anything to gain be "interfering"

1.) I am underage.
2.) My father would kill me.
Those are basically the two reasons. However, if I wasn't just 17 I would be. I don't care what my father says. I would be out there fighting for my country. I would fight for my country like my father did in Operation desert Storm when he was Saudi for 6 months and then Iraq for 6 months and then he went to Kuwait.
I want to fight. I want to go and help the Iraqies because I feel sorry for them.

I fought in my war, Vietnam, way before you were born! I'd go back in a New York minute if I hadn't lost a leg to a booby trap on my second tour. Why ain't you crawlin' thru the sand, cupcake?

I'm not a member of the military. I'm almost too old to join, but not quite. My son, who's in the Army National Guard and was briefly a Recruiter Assistant before he shipped out to AIT, did try to talk me into joining the Guard, and I actually considered it. guess I still am, somewhat.
And to the 17-year-old girl who wants to join, have a heart-to-heart with your dad. You can join at 17 with parental consent. My son did.

I am at this very moment.... and I wish there were more politicians that felt the way about war as you did.... wait, I retract that, then they would likely produce offspring, and that would truly be a tragedy...

Fight in Iraq?
It is NOT my war. I am NOT gonna die for what another man said. I make the decision to fight for a crucial event or when to give my life. I make myself this decisions, NOT Bush or Allawi.
