put the fork down after every single bite. do not pick it up again until you have swallowed everything in your mouth. do not do other things while eating like read or watch t.v. focus completely on your body's signals. it takes like 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain it's full.
also why did you post another question about running & walking for 6 hrs. this seems psychological.

Evolution. Ruminates eat fast and digest after rumination. Because humans can`t ruminate they have to voluntarily slow down. I use spoons,knife and fork even to eat an omlet and bread slice. That worked for me.

eat five small meals a day,don't leave your stomach empty,that's when you attack the fridge
