I don't believe that you are a racist. I can understand why you would question why God created us in so many different shades. Especially when the Bible states that He created us in His image. I do believe in God and accept the Bible as His word to us. I really can't explain to you why we were created in so many shades. I don't believe that He was being "playful". I just think that some things are not for us to understand. I guess that God figures that there are other, more important things for us to ponder.

Yes I believe in God and that he is alive even today. I believe in Jesus Christ and have accepted him as my lord and savior. With that out of the way, if you read the bible it said he created Adam and that he created Adam in his own image. Then he saw that the man alone, he made woman to be his helper.
These were the people he created himself. After that we were to be fruitful and multiply. The different races came when people split and started to move away. When there was intense sunlight the skin would darken. Everyone came from Adam and Eve.

Variation in a species is very advantageous because it helps said species adjust to changing environments by evolution thus making extinction less likely. So the real question is: Why WOULDN'T God create so many different races and colors?

Why does everybody keep talking about having so many races of people? there are only three races of people, White, Black and Yellow. Most brown and olive complected people are of the white race.

You can't really truly say that you aren't a racist until you've slept with someone from every race.
I'm not racist.

not that many colours, actually. i assume that He had the older version of the crayolas, that had only about a dozen colours, and that He had to blend to get the really cool lookings ones.

Color has nothing to do with God, because he doesn't exist.
