I am going on vacation for 8 days and just leaving her locked in the bathroom.

No there isn't anything you can give a dog that isn't going to do some major physical damage. I'd advise against locking the dog in the bathroom too. If that dog is barking and the neighbors know you are on vacation, the Humane society will knock down your door to take your dog away. On top of that you'll be charged with neglect and inhumane treatment towards an animal. Find a friend or relative, heck even a neighbor, to come over and the let the dog out twice a day.

That is soooo cruel. Not only the fact that you want her to be constipated but your locking her in the bathroom.........FOR A WEEK!!! What kind of state do you expect to find her in? How is she going to get food and water? Not to mention the mess, even if she was only peeing.
Please reconsider having someone else take her for the week or just take her with you. Ya know, when you have an animal your supposed to treat it with the same respect you would your child. Now would you lock you kid the the bathroom for a week? Or should I even ask??? This question has disturbed me ALOT!!!!!

This is cruel and unusual punishment. We do this same thing to a mass murderer. You are effectively putting your dog into solitary confinement in a prison. Would you do this same thing to a human being, your best friend perhaps?
No, you are better than this. You will find someone to leave the dog with. You will spend the money for a kennel. You will do whatever you have to do to be good to this dog. In the end, you will NOT put an innocent dog who only knows love for you into solitary confinement in a prison.
I volunteer. I am retired, and have no committments which keep me here at the moment and I will house sit your dog. I will spend the money to come and get your dog, or I will spend the money and come to you and you will let me house sit your house while you are away. Whatever you decide, if you leave this dog for this length of time in solitary confinement, you are less than human and your lack of humanity shows in you asking this kind of question.
Hire a kennel, ask a friend, ask ME to house sit for you, but do NOT punish your innocent dog for your lack of humanity when the dog has done NOTHING to deserve punishment in solitary confinement.

I hope you die in a fiery car crash. What would ever make you think leaving a dog in a bathroom for a week would be ok? If you've got the money to go on vacation, you've got the money to put her in a kennel for a week.

No! there aren't.
If you can afford to go on vacation, pay a pet sitter to check on your dog twice a day or better yet surrender her at your local shelter and when they ask you why tell them. I'm sure they'll understand your logic.
Or better yet, just don't feed her for 8 days and that'll take of the problem!

You need to find a home for this poor thing. What kind of owner would ever consider doing this to a poor animal. You don't deserve to live. You need to be turned over to the authorities for animal abuse. You looser.
