Simply because with all our science we are finding that there is more truth in the bible about things that happened in our past than not. example: how much real difference is there between the theory of the big bang and the idea of something speaking a word and creating the Physical universe. Not much as both denote an action and movement(sound). In earlier versions of creation there were great beasts that roamed the earth(Dinosaurs maybe). would be glad to give you more examples.

Because we are not Humanists, we believe in GOD!

Humanism is an ideological, political, and religious belief that denies the existence of God. Atheists are humanist, as are new-agers, and many others. The theory of evolution was developed by humanists to create a world devoid of God. Humanism today is prevalent in our media, schools, and government. The religious humanist believes, as the Humanist Manifesto states, that the religions of the world are outdated due to a vastly increased knowledge and experience, and are powerless to solve the problem of human living in this time. Christians know the power of God, but to the humanist the human is divine and must be responsible for furnishing adequate human goals and providing for the spiritual needs of today. Because humanists believe that the universe and its peoples are self-existing and not created, they believe humanism is the only religion capable of leading humans along the evolutionary path...

God created science. We don't have a problem with real science or scientific research, that is, testing, retesting, observation and falsification, it is the junk science and the philosophies dressed up as science that we object to. How can people today, with all our science and evidence, still believe in an evolution hoax? That is the question.

Since evolution begins with the big bang theory billions of years ago, whose is the archaic fairy tale belief? It takes an insurmountable leap of faith to believe in all of your 'science' crap.

Why not ask Albert Einstein: He said the following.

"Everyone whoi is SERIOUSLY interested in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe - - a spirit vastly superior to man, and one in the face of which our modest powers MUST feel humble"

Charles Darwin Said: "To suppose that the eye could have been formed by natural selection seems i freely confess, ABSURD in the HIGHEST degree"

George Gallop, the famous statistician said "I could prove God statistically; take the human body alone; the chance that all the functions of the individual would just happen, is a statistical monstrosity."

Speaking of science -the theory of evolution holds that things in nature evolve to a "more fit" level. In essense they continue to "upgrade" or get better. However, this flies right in the face of provable science - that being the second law of thermodynamics which states that all matter moves from order to disorder - thus if you sit your car outside for a few hundered years, that paint job isn't going to get shinier.

Atheist,
If you were truly a scientific person, as inm one who values science more than all else, you would never have wasted your time with asking this question. Why don't you become a truly devoted scientifc acolyte and leave spirituality alone? You have nothing on us, so your attack is unscientific and intellectually lazy. You defame the scientific world with you rants.

Not be a good intellectual and bugger off!

We have the Bible. (Which, by the way, is the best selling book of all time, and is also proven to be the most historically correct book ever written.) Science can try to disprove it all they want. Notice the word, "try" =)
