I don't think "let" should even apply here. She is not your property. If a male gynecologist is who her doctor is, then she should go to him. Don't be so childish.

Not everything is about territory, y'know. If you're that uncomfortable, why don't you just pee on her shoes??
Just so you know, to 99.99% of male GYNs, a vagina is just a vagina--it's like a mechanic working on a transmission. It's just a part, and a part that isn't terribly interesting anymore because you see 20 different ones a day.
Her comfort is what you should really be worried about. If she wants to go to a male doctor, let her. If she prefers a female doctor, let her go to a female. The fact is that pelvic exams are not the highlight of any woman's day. Going to a doctor with whom you are comfortable can cut down significantly on that unpleasantness. If she's comfortable with her current doc, she should keep seeing him or her. Your opinion shouldn't even factor into it.

Well, if he was your neighbor or best friend, of course not! But male gynecologist are very common and have seen about a 1000 vaginas in the medical sense. It's just a job - not an adventure. Relax!

He is a doctor. It is not like he has never seen one before. Now if he were one of your friends or brother, I could see where you might feel uneasy about it. I can guarantee you that she feels just as uncomfortable about it as you do, but she will feel that way with a woman also and most gynecologists are male. There is nothing us women can do about that. It is a process that we have to go through and HATE with a passion. Just try to be supportive, you are not making it any easier on her. She isn't going to try to make a date.....I would be more worried about the dentist......Just kidding

Get over it. The doctor is not thinking WOW nice vagina. Men doctors are wonderful. And they make a woman sometimes feel more comfortable. Woman are rough to other woman. And it should be what your wife is most comfortable with. If you are that concerned you should go to the visits with her. So you can be there through it all. Remember one thing a Vaginal exam is so UNCOMFORTABLE we would rather have a dentist appointment. It is never sexual. Good luck

That's the craziest thing men say. They aren't looking at women in a sexual way. That is their profession. They probably see so pu**y they get sick of looking at it. There is nothing wrong with your woman going to a man gynecologist and it's stupid for men to be jealous over it. It's not at all enjoyable for a woman to have to go to a gyn. I guarantee it's far more embarrassing for us than it is exciting to him. Grow up and let your woman get her health checked out. That's the best thing you can do if you love her.

You can ask the good gynecologist to close his eyes, most of their work is done through the means of expert touch anyway!

Since the vagina belongs your woman she needs to see the doctor she feels comfortable with. Otherwise the vaginal exam will be horribly uncomfortable for her. When she gets home she will be a total witch to you because of it! If you cannot handle her choice of doctor then leave the relationship. So she can find an enlightened man!

A doctor is a health professional. Trust me, a gynecologist who specializes in female reproductive health and disorders has seen every kind of female vagina, and it means nothing to them sexually. It would be like you looking at a fence post.

Face this situation. You have a medical condition involving your private parts and that is life threatening, requiring immediate surgery. You're sent to the ER and there's only a female surgeon there. Your wife refuses to give consent for the surgery and she prefers that you rather die than allowing some other woman to see your 'so called assets'. Don't you think she did the right thing?

Yes men are alot gentler thean women gynos. I always went to see women gynos but my obstertricaian was male and his examinations were much gentler and even though I was nervous having another man look down there ,I just told myself that he's a professional and in the end all vaginas are basically the same.
