I have these sensations due to MS.

Yes, I have heard of it. It's a form of neuropathy. A lot of people have it. My sons' mother-in-law has MS, too and suffers from it.

People who undergo chemotherapy develop it, and it can be quite painful. Diabetics suffer from it, too.

People who stand or walk all day at their jobs can have lots of pain in their feet also. There are many medications out there that can help alleviate the pain. Good luck in finding a physician to help with the pain.

My friend who is a waitress with MS has very bad problems with her feet. She ended up getting cooling socks online to wear to keep her feet cooler which helps with the sensations.

I doubt our two conditions are related, but I thought you might be interested anyway: my teeth are galvanically sensitive. My dentist has confirmed this. What it basically means is that anywhere I have a filling, if you touch it with a metal fork, dentist's pick, etc., it will conduct electricity into the root of my tooth, which mildly shocks me just like licking a battery will.

This is apparently a rather rare but not unheard of condition.

sorry if this doesn't help...
