If your looking for one soon go to Sears by Sept. 6th. They are having a 10% rebate sale. I know rebates kinda suck but u can get the rebate on top of a pricematch, so there is an oppurtunity for a really sweet deal.

the prices of the 1080 i's are dropping considerably now to make way for the 1080 p's. i've noticed a big price drop at work. (SAMS) HD broadcast's are not in 1080P an are not going to be. there isn't a large difference between 1080i and p. ive seen the two side by side. yes flat panel LCD tv's give off much less radiation because they are lighting liquid crystals on the screen as opposed the the cathode ray that is projecting straight at you.
