It is more delicate in your case, rather than the stiches that are outside of the body. I would just be as careful as possible, but your doc probably did a good job of covering you for this problem, and I wouldn't worry all that much, just be cautious.

the operation of "stitching" flesh together results with the epithelial cells growing together. This process is different for each person's metabolism. I guideline for this process, depeding upon the severity, for your situation, I would say 2 weeks of your current status, and 2 more weeks until the stitches can safely be removed. However, one must ALWAYS consult a physician

you are probably okay. what did the doc tell you to eat and drink?
Probably soft stuff till the stitches are gone. Jello, pudding, baby food, soup, soft scrambled eggs, soft small pieces of bread, soft fruits anything that doesn't require a lot of work to get down.
Are you doing salt water rinse? I sure hope so. Call your doctor for details.

well it's hard, yet easy at the same time, i would not think your likely to rip all of them out, but there is a chance for one or two...just be careful.Im sure they used the right type of stiching to prevent this from happening. i'm surprised you can actualy eat anything.
