I am getting ready to paint and I have 2 gallons of flat latex- but looking at it, I think I will need more and I have 1 gallon of satin latex and I wanted to know if I can mix them together. I thought since they are all latex it wouldn't matter, but then I hear it does matter, can someone who really knows help me out? I looked online but I could't seem to find anything...

You can--but I strongly suggest you not do it. You'll never be able to match it when you need to do touch up in the future. The finish changes the way light reflects off of it, so even the same color won't look quite the same.

But they won't separate quickly in the can, if that's what you mean.

I think you can , just mix well or you could have flashing, some shiny places showing when certain lights hit the walls, but why not try it . Its just paint.
