8 months. I couldn't eat any solid foods the whole time I was pregnant with my youngest It all came back up within 5 minutes. In fact, the only things that didn't make my stomach feel sick were orange juice, and pineapple juice.

Depends on what you mean by "fast." When Catholics fast, we eat only one full meal a day and two smaller meals/snacks. One can do this kind of fasting for a long time - I did it for about 2 weeks once. If you mean fasting as not eating any food at all - I've gone 2 or 3 days. Not deliberately and not as a fast but because I was sick.

Depends... When I fast, I give up something everyday that I enjoy until the Lord answers that prayer or the situation changes. Like dinner, sodas or whatever. but total fasting no food at all 12 days.

Nothing like fasting to make you realize people who eat meat smell like it. Not that it has ever stopped me from eating meat...but I do sympathize with Vegetarians who say Meat Eaters smell bad! =S
The first 48 hours are the worst, I kept fantasizing about a BK Whopper. After that it was a cake walk!

One month, not by choice. I had to have reconstructive surgery following the birth of my first child and for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the surgery I was only allowed clear liquids. I never wanted a cheeseburger so bad in my life.

KB would have you believe they fast for the whole month, when in fact they fast for approximately 14 hours, and then when the sun goes down they feast every night.

I have fasted for 24 hours once, but it made my very sick (I get migraines if my blood sugar fluctuates) and I ended up in the ER on a morphine drip. Now, I choose to do other things like meditate all day to practice my religion.
