Try to find a dental hygiene school in your area, the students are usually looking for patients to practice making whitening trays. For instance my school in Arizona charges $35 for an upper and lower tray + whitening kit. get a box of arm n hammer. set it in your bath room cabinet. EVERY time you brush your teeth -- wet your tooth brush and start by sticking your tooth brush (wet) into the box of baking soda. then rinse and get out your bottle of hydrogen peroxide and pour it over your bristles and brush your teeth some more- Then, (you might not like the taste, so...) brush another few seconds with your tooth paste of choice. TA DA!!
oh ya and drink alot o milk (if you can)

Well a way to keep them from getting darker is to limit dark drinks such as coffee, tea, and dark colas.
