Most long distance relationships don't work out. But if you work hard at it, it will work out.
My mother has a long distance relationship, because she's in Michigan, and he's in Virginia. (They've only known for 2 years)
But all you really have to do is have ALOT of trust because in long distance relationships some women and men get scared that the other is cheating on them. You should also keep in touch, by phone, mail. Maybe you can go and visit them and they can come visit you. You can take time off from work and go see them for a week.
But if you really like this person then you should try to make it work out. But it will be hard...

If it's been a long distance relationship for 10 years I doubt if u 2 really know each other at all. I mean, U basically know only what the other is telling you. Have U or ur partner been seeing other people? and how do u know for sure? And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

It can work with effort and devotion, and most importantly, LOVE.
Pretty soon, you're gonna have to make time to see each other physically. If you plan on not seeing each other at all, but intend to maintain a relationship only via phone or internet, then it's gonna go down the drain.
Other than that, it can work.

Did you ever know each other in person? What do you expect from a long-distance relationship? Will you see each other in person sometimes? How often?

If you and your partner have been together for 10yrs, and you trust each other, it should work. Just maintain good communication, and no surprises over the phone/e-mail. If there are issues, discuss them openly and honestly. If there are decisions to be made, make them together. Plan free time together, so you have something to look forward to. Good Luck!!

it will work if you guys will make an effort to it. If love and commitment is present, also God iss the center of it, then yes it will work. The relationship depends on you guys, if both partners will work on it, not just only one.
