Think sodium pump and neuro chimenicals does what you say not electricity. Remember being turn on making my first miniature electric motor. Still don't know exactly what it is. Interesting thinking how we went from Franklin, Morse, Edison, Bell to Internet.

actually its very hot-- especially if your finger slips off a reset switch and hits a 440 volt poly phase converter-- damn near snuffed me out. treat it with respect- and make sure your wiring is correct
