I will get these muscle twitches... sometimes my back will spasm, sometimes a bicep, sometimes my legs. It's always when I'm in a relaxed position. Why does my body do this? What's going on inside my body and why would physical exhaustion effect this?

When your muscles twitches it could only mean one thing. Your potassium is to low. Your muscles contain the most amount of potassium in your body. Every time your workout your muscles uses up great amount of potassium and also magnesium. You also may want buy a multimineral. Make sure eat a banana before and after you workout. Bananas are rich in potassium and magnesium. Orange juice is also a good source of potassium. I will recommend a visit with your physician. Make sure you have some blood drawn so he can check your levels of potassium in your body. And make sure you drink plenty of water before, during, and after you workout. Good luck.

It's your muscles growing huge!

Just kidding. I also get this when I'm weight training. I've read it can be caused by a lack of stretching, and like a mini-cramp caused by lack of water. They feel good though, especially after you kill yourself in the gym.

it's usually because you need potassium. i drink pickle juice, dill works the fastest. a friend of mine takes a spoon of salt. if none of this works you might have one of those syndromes you hear so much about. see your doctor.
