If you can mix forces together, what type of soldiers will you use to form the BEST of the BEST army?

You can use any soliders, leaders, generals from anywhere in history that existed BEFORE the development of firearms. it would be silly to mix nuclear power and bow and arrows. anyways i talking about like mix the knights of europe and monoglians or i dont know, i want to see yours. there are no limits to how many nations or superpowers you use to make this the best of the best army of the old times thanks

Mithridates of Pontus as Supreme leader,Alexander the Great as his head Tactitian, the Infantry would be Roman legions and Greek schiltrons, Cavalry would be Carthaginian Armored Elephants mixed with Armenian cataphracts and light cavalry would be Scythian archers or mongolian hordes. English longbowmen for missle troops and ballistas and onagers a la the Roman Empire for artillery. As for Cavalry leaders if we could take people from times with firearms I'd recommend Bedford Forrest or Bemjamin Grierson. This is fun, kind of like fantasy football!!

Citizen soldiers, real volunteers, people who believed in honest leaders, but the leaders we have know are not honest and they know jack **** about the Military and warfare. They really need to be fired and replaced. It is bad enough now, we don't need or can't stand another screw up like the invasion. The 64 thousand dollar question is what are they going to do next? This group of draft dodging knuckle heads at the top of the military have blasted themselves and us right into a metal corner with 200 pounds comp C4 and a box of caps with plunger and a basket of chicken-deep fried and greasy.

I would go with much the same line-up as AI O although I wouldn't trust Mithridates of Pontus or Alexander the Great for that matter. Instead I'd have Belisarius as my military leader. Once he gave you his oath he wouldn't betray you and and he was very good at winning in the most efficient way possible. I would also have 5th Century Persian cataphracts and some Japanese Samurai as bodyguards/special ops troops.

I would have George Washington lead a group of Gladiators with rocket launchers. Only George Washington and his assistant, Abraham Lincoln, would have nuclear weapons.

Alright, if I can't mix the two (although I think that works well), I would have George Washington and his assistant,Alexander the Great, lead an army of Gladiators with a full array of weaponry.

Army = Israeli Special forces + US Marines + Indian Sikh Regiment + Indian Gurkhs Regiment + Russian Red army special forces

AirForce = Israeli + US Airforce

Navy = British Royal Navy + US Navy

Intelligence = mossad + CIA + KGB

First and foremost, I would select Navy EOD (the bomb squad). They are some of the most highly trained, and intelligent men and women in the military. Not only do they have to be able to do everything that the troops they support do (shoot, jump, dive, drive) - but then they have their own job to do once they get there.

They are our first line of defense in this new battlefield against the number one killer of our troops - the Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
