Depends on what kind of fighter you are, and what kind of fights you want to prepare yourself for. If you want to fend off rapists, you should learn stuff like Wing Chung kung fu, Aikido, and there are some good kung fu techniques that are deadly that won't require you to be faster or stronger than your attacker. To be a martial artist you have to think more about strategy, and not buy into the hype over which system is the most lethal techniques and can bend steel bars and crap like that.

With regards to The Fifth Contender, Krav Maga IS a martial art, it's an Israeli Combat Art, not a made up name, it's only within the past 10 yrs or so that it has become more well known here in the states dude. As a future reference for people who know nothing on the subject, you should not voice your opinion if you know nothing about it; although you may think you're being witty and sarcastic you should use more discretion before choosing to interject an uninformed opinion.)
Any other Martial Art would be a good addition; I would probably go with Hapkido, Aikido, Jujitsu, Judo, something that will allow you to work on ground fighting techniques, as Krav Maga is a mostly standing martial art that incorporates kicks, punches and disarming techniques.
these other martial art will focus on joint locks and manipulation, as well as ground techniques in the case any fight you might encounter could (and sometimes will, go to the ground).
whatever your decision, I hope you decide to stick with it.

I heartily second quiksilver8676's answer. People, if you're ignorant on a topic, feel free to not burden the rest of us with your lack of knowledge.
On to the question. I recommend a "soft" art to go with Krav Maga. Something where you use leverage and gravity against an opponent rather than sheer strength and precision of strikes. I also recommend that all fighters have a strong ground game. Even if you don't intend to fight on the ground, knowing how to move when the fight invariably puts you there will help you to get back up if you choose not to subdue an enemy on the ground with a joint lock or choke. Jiujitsu would go perfectly with Krav Maga to round you out as a fighter.
If not jiujitsu, go with aikido, hapkido, or judo in that order.

brazilian ju-jitsu. My foster dad used to be a cop, and when he was busting heads, he was studying krav maga for the dissarming techniques. Well, he also used to be in the army, and learned military judo. You put them together, and I don't know anyone that can take him down, and he is only 5'6".
