My wife is about 55 years old. Daily she complaints that when she goes to bed, she feels actute pain in the legs. When somebody pumps the legs either with the hand or any other weight, she feels relief. I have consulted many doctors. As per their advice, I have carried out all the lab test but no result. Can anybody suggest me any alopathic or ayurvedic medicine by which she may overcome this problem. Reply me urgently.

I had that exact problem several years ago.

The chiropractor x-rayed my back and found a subluxation in one of my vertebrae in the lower part of my spine. He didn't know about my problem. Basically a nerve that went to my legs was being squished.

Prior to going to the chiropractor, I took vitamin E and it cured my problem every night. This all makes sense since vitamin E enhances nerve function. After the chiropractor, my legs were fine.

There are several causes for restless legs. My friend with MS gets them and her mother without MS gets them as well. There are web sites that list numerous cures. You might want to try the least expensive, safest ones first. There is a prescription medication available for restless legs but you've probably tried that.

I do know people that have had trouble finding something that works.

RLS- Restless Leg Syndrome- I've seen several Television commercials about super new drugs to treat this problem. She should visit her Doctor to get checked up.

I understand your concern, but i was a daddy's Girl and i slept with my father alot. He did know the difference between me and his wife my mother. It meant alot to fall asleep in my father's arms. To this day im grateful that my father and i had this sort of relationship. He never ever did anything evaporatee. But i can tell you he was a amazing dad, took me fishing, 4 wheeling, horse back riding, camping, read stories to me, took care of me when i was sick and picked me up when i fell. My dad was also 6'4 250 pounds with tattoo's everywhere. But that doesn't make him someone that would harm their child. You really need to get to know your boyfriend if you have these sort of problems with him and his daughter's relationship!

No one mentioned that this might be leg cramps. My mother had them and found she would have to get up and put her bare foot on a cold surface. One thing that might help is a brace that keeps the foot perpendicular to the leg. It stretches out the calf muscles while you sleep and keeps them supple and prevents them from cramping. Also increased calcium intake helps (like Tums Ultra).
