remove the runners from the 2005 seats and bolt the runners from the 2000 seats to them. It may be necessary to make some minor adjustments. As long as the seats are similar dimensionaly they should fit into the car.

You _definitely_ must obtain a repair manual for that before going any further with that. But however, the seats from a 2005 Lincoln Town Car may not fix a 2000 model properly.

Pull the seats out of the 2000 and replace them with the seats from the 2005, if the holes don't line up redrill the holes. If that doesn't work, use duct tape or bailing wire to hold them in place.
