I think you need to take a step back and ask yourself "Why am I aruing over God's gender?" If God is Without dependence on others, God would not have to reproduce. God is eternal and therefore has no reason to procreate or have genitalia, male or female. Assigning God to a gender limits God, whether it be to female or male and anyone who believes in God would know that God cannot be limited or described in human concepts, especially that of man and woman. Any use of the word he is either the product of a male dominated society, or from fear of calling God "it" and implying inanimacy to God.
