really the temperature isn't wonderful all year, when you travel depends on you.

I like November or December, can get a lower price for the same great vacation.

It is best to visit after January. In the fall the Caribbean tends to get a lot of low pressure systems which produce frequent rains. After that the islands are much more pleasant with nicer weather. I avoid the caribbean in the fall and summer months.

The best time is Jan - Jun as it's the dry season for, not much rain or mosquitoes. Alot of the Caribbean islands have the Carnival during this time as well. Lot and Lots of sunshine.

February and March are the best months because the temperature is tolerable and the weather fairly dry and it is after the busy season of Christmas but a little bit before Spring Break.

been to the Dominic republic twice in a year. January and march. i preferred march, the weather was better than in January. in January we had more rain than in march. i did not think January was as warm as in march. just a reminder if you go during Easter the water sports, etc are not allowed due to the holiday. they celebrate Easter like our new year's eve. planning on going back in April of next year.
