I know teenage pregnancy is a problem but Im not here to focus on that. Alot of teens have unprotected sex because it feels better, now pregnancy aside, what about all these nasty disgusting life threatning diseases like AIDS or contracting herpies which there really isint a cure for. Do you realize when you have sex with someone unprotected you sleep with everyone that person has been with, Is that something cool or something to be proud of? Why would you young people put yourself at risk to get something? Is sex that worth it that youd give your life up for it, I mean if you get AIDS its fatal and there isint a cure.

I completly agree w/ u on that one. That's why I'm waiting until I'm married to have any type of sexual intercourse. Sex to me is sacred, I don't see how people can just have sex w/o it being w/ someone that u plan on being w/ for the rest of ur life. Being married secures that and I personally believe the sex will be even better, because u've waited for so long to give urself to only 1 person.

I am 15, and will most likely wait. Girls aren't all over me either so there isn't tons of temptation. I understand the risks, and if I was stupid enough to have sex before I was ready I would definately use protection. AIDS scares the hell out of me. It can kill you very quickly, which is a very scary thought. I feel really bad for all the people that have it, and wish I could do something to help. When I am older I will definately be giving money to foundations for AIDS. Hopefully someday we can discover a cure. But until then, we should all be a little bit more carefull about having sex. You should know that your partner has been tested, and always use protection.

I agree. I know that 8000 teens get an S.T.D. every year, 1 million teens are currently pregnant, 1out of 4 have a sexual disease, and over 300,000 will get an abortion this school year. I know I don't need the hassle of all that so I have decided to totally save myself for my wedding night.

Adults are no better – when the mood strikes and no condom is around people still offer to go bare-back. Unbelievable -- it usually raises some alarms. Ice cold shower works well.

Being stupid is fatal again – just like the days of lions, tigers, and bears.

Adults are not any better.

Most women I have been with, forget about the condomn after a few times. Like knowing me a little better really matters

Thank you! I never even slept with my husband without protection until after the STD testing before we were married. (In my state, you have to get tested for all STD's before marriage) Its scary! And disgusting!!

This is meant for ADULTS and TEENAGERS that do this.

Greed 2.0 is correct! Adults are just as bad.

Good point, but lots of people don't want sex ed. taught in schools, and parents don't know crap a lot of times and don't know how to foster a good discussion about these sorts of things with their children.

My mom recently got in a relationship---she has been celibate for 15 yrs...I had to teach her how to put on a condom (on a banana, of course) She had no sex ed. in school....correlation here?

i dont know, most kids believe it wont happen to them that happens to poor people or gay people and not to people like them. middle and upper class people have the highest instances of teen pregnancy and stds. lack of info and parenting too

i use a condom. sometimes when i'm out, i ask my dad for some because he has a new wife and she's in her 20's and he's in his 40's so there are going at it. not that much anymore though.
so he gives his condoms that he doesn't use anymore to me.
