I like to be touched ( casual touching ) on the arm, shoulder, accross the chest. That let's me know your interested. Cause frankly, alot of guys don't read the sophisticated flirting most women do. Just keep it simple, basic.

When I'm out with a girl I look for light touches on the arm, shoulder, back, or if you are sitting, knee/thigh(not too high though, you don't want to send the wrong signal). If she laughs at all my corny jokes, that's a good sign too. Looking at me while im talking(eye contact is important!) Have her starting topics as well, and asking me more about myself, extra details on some background I've given are good signs as well(but not too prying). Lastly, smile alot.
