Are the teachers being so strict because the kids are acting up and will not behave? Are all of the students doing their part?If the teacher is truly mean she needs to be removed from the classroom or the kids will not learn from her. If she is just more strict than others then you need to just do your work and pay attention and never cause any hassels, then you will not have a reason to be afraid of her!Best wishes!

I am a teacher and I am scared of the mean teachers at my school! Some of them are just plain mean for no apparent reason. I hear the kids talk and I just do not understand. And when I interact with them in the copy room or lounge it is clear that they have no patience and are just plain mean. All in all though if you are just cordial and do what they expect of you then you have no problems.

No I just think the are jerks...I was emailing a professor about an assignment and mentioned that I ordered the text off line because it was cheaper and it hadn't arrived yet but I would catch up as soon as I got it...the next morning we had a surprised reading quiz...jerk!

No. Believe it or not, you learn more from them. They prepare you for the real world and do it to keep you on top of things.
