i work with him and hardly know him but weve hung out a couple of times with other friends and spent the night at his house with some friends and he likes to play hit me and he let me sit on his lap when we went bowling the other night its kinda like he cant stop touching me but then at work he hardly talks to me and were kinda distant but he still play hits me sometimes at work and he texts me on his own at night but just says whats up and our inside joke which is getting old of talking bout almost every night im confused

in my opinion u guys are friends but he likes to flirt w/ you which is his way of kinda telling you "i'm interested" but still keeping it friendly. give it time, flirt back and soon you just might take your relationship to the next level. And as for work, he might wanna just concentrate on his work and not fool around too much, and keep that work life seperate from his love life.

Is your boss a real asshole? If it's female, is she a real b *****? He probably doesn't want to show it at work - because this could get him in a lot of trouble - or even fired. Work relationships are sometimes frowned upon by stuffy management types.
But more to the point? If it DOESN'T work out between the two of you? And especially if you break up? Then he still has to see you at work. And then things can get petty and vindictive. It's almost like going through a divorce, but without the marriage.
You say you hardly know him? Probably the people at work hardly know him as well. Maybe this is the way he wants it because it's safe - and keeping his personal business to himself - won't jeopardize his job or anything.

Maybe he does like you but when you 2 are at work he is trying to keep it cool doesn't want a realtionship to get in the way. And with your inside joke yeah it maybe old but that could be his way of wanting to get too know you better. I worked with someone and we did that same thing and we ended up being together for 4 yrs. Maybe it can turn out to be something good.. GOOD LUCK

I am not sure if he likes you or not. But one thing i am sure is that he feels very comfortable around you (with the body contact, text messages, etc.,) However, you should check if he is also doing this to other girls ... if he is only doing this to you, i think he does have feelings about you. So, look around and do some observations to find out the answer!!

Maybe he just thinks of you guys as friends? Who knows?
Don't be negative! Since he acts werid at work, it's probably because he's trying to act proper and everything.
