It sounds like he is trying to "feel you out" and see how you react to his playful mimicking. In that case, yes, he likes you. The question is, do you like him?
If the asnwer is YES, do yourself a favor and talf to him. The "best friend" you could possibly have in any relationship is open, honest communication. Leave the mind games and deceptions behind. The "Worst enemy" you could possibly have in any relationship is closed or faulty communication.
If you like him and he likes you, take the opportunity to sit together at lunch and talk. Learn abuot each other and set "ground rules" to your friendship. Rules such as:
Respecting each other and each other's feelings.
Being open and honest with each other.
Being honest with your friends about your friendship with each other (Avoid the childish games people play in school about whether you like a guy or not).
Don't rush into anything. Take the time to learn about each other and be friends well after the lust and puppy love wear off. If you still care about each other then, that is when you can be honest and obhjective abuot your friendship and relationship.
If you both follow those steps, you will have put the essentials in place for a strong, long-lasting relationship if you are both compatible with each other. Furthermore, you will both carry the tools you need for a long and lasting marriage - whether you marry each other or somebody else down the road.
One last thing is that, in school, you are generally too houng to be dating one person exclusively. This is the time when you should both be dating a few different people on a platonic level so you can experience a variety of personalities, characteristics and qualities which will help you to determine the most important qualities you are looking for in your ideal mate. Qualities like:
Openess
Honesty
Integrety
Affection
Humor
Loyalty
Intellegence...
You will also learn to avoid the negative qualities which will hurt you in the long run.
One great question exercise to do when you are in a relationship is to list all of the positive and negative qualities of your partner and then use each quality in the following phrase:
MY IDEAL PARTNER IS A MAN WHO:____________________
If your list looks ridiculous for the negative qualities - he is not your ideal partner and it is time to get out of the relationship so you can find your ideal partner - a man who is a compliment to your life.
All the best to you!

Maybe he's just weird.
LOL. just kidding!
It is a possibility, that he does like you. You just don't know it. Or, he could be just trying to get your attention. Who knows? Guys are weird. But you can't assume he does like you if he does that. It may seem obvious but things like that.. little signs and stuff can be misleading. IF you really want to know, the best way is to ask him yourself.Try not to be nervous, you can do it! Build up the confidence and start a conversation. Get to know him, don't be shy!The more comfortable you and he feels around each other, the more open you guys are willing to tell each other certain things. Hey, maybe you'll end up liking him :)
GOOD LUcK!
