how can just one/any of them be "right"?

Nobody can know. Humans must be told and taught about religion, we are not born with it. The key is belief. One must "believe" and sometimes that's stronger that reality.

An interesting question. But consider a slightly different sentence:

"With so many theories as to who really shot Kennedy, how can any one of them be right?"

If various religions are actually getting a glimpse of something other than our own ideas and hopes, if they're trying to explain some actual mechanics of what's beyond this existence, it stands to reason that not everyone is correct in their assumptions- unless the idea that we create existence ourselves (and some people believe that's the case) extends to that realm too, assuming it's there....

But it's a big leap to even assume that our universe isn't simply all-inclusive, and that there isn't something "beyond" it for religion to provide an explanation for.

Religions are just a bunch of people with similar ideas. In truth, every person has different beliefs from everyone else in some way or another, so by that, there would actually be billions of different religious beliefs.
Unless someone can call up a god or goddess that can prove themselves to everyone, everywhere, no two people will ever agree completely.

The difference between Christianity and all other religions is very distinct. Christianity is the only one that is not based on your good works getting you to Heaven but rather God's mercy on you for accepting His Son Jesus. All other religions teach that you work your way to Heaven or enlightenment or whatever.

Prophecy. Only the Bible has prophecy, fulfilled and proved true.

Start thinking about a relationship with Christ and not religions. Religions are mankind's feeble attempt to reach God. God reaches us through Jesus Christ.

Religion is man trying to reach up to God with rituals and rules. Christianity is God reaching down to man with the gift of His Son, Jesus.

They can't. Better to look to what all religions agree on, and use that as a basis for your own research.
Love God, Love your fellow man, Be just and true in all your dealings and cause no harm or pain to anyone if you can help it.

Love and Light
