Im starting to see some really nasty, cross the line blasphemy type mockery stuff again. is this starting again ? Does it really do any good ? Does everybody realize the difference between fun and deep offense ?

Sometimes it seems like everyone is asking questions and giving answers in good fun.
Other times, it's like everyone is frustrated and just trying to be 'right' by downright rude responses or passive aggresive ones.
Oh, and the ones who believe get just as offended and act just as childish as the ones who don't believe. Immaturity knows no belief system.
I think people know the difference between fun and offense, just sometimes they don't care. Or they're drunk and bored on a Friday night. Who knows? I'm just trying to stay away from some of the more offensive posts and not get sucked into being a jerk back at some folks.

I don't think we all have the same standards. I asked recently a question, in my opinion a very innocent one, and most Christians took it the way it was meant, but some fanatics didn't and I got some nasty private mails about them, and a couple of public threatens, too. So, where do you draw the line? Some people are offended by the very fact that you state you're an unbeliever. So my standard is good taste and the law. If the law allows me and I think it's in good taste, I'll do it. Anyway, reading my questions is not compulsory, and I will take any answer you want to give me.

I think all this is fun. Why would I take personally the biased opinions of someone I have never met? It doesn't bother me at all when people attack my beliefs, it just shows their hypocrisy.
