I have a huge bump on my gums????
I have this huge bump on my gums right near my tooth. Sometimes it puses up and I have to pop it and it hurts my tooth too, like it's kinda loose. This bump after I pop it looks like a blood blister, and bleeds. Does anyone have any clue what this could be????

I've had it for more than a year

Sounds like a tooth abcess. Though it could be a periodontal abcess. Do you have pain in a tooth in that area, a cavity, or signs of periodontal disease?

I am also a dental asst. and I agree with husky mom, could be a periodontal abscess. the bump is called a fistula, if your dentist can't find anything wrong with the tooth then it could be gum disease which can after time make your teeth mobile as you indicated your tooth is. ask your dentist to do perio probing on your teeth it's a measurement of the health of your gums unfortunately not all dental offices do this

Sounds like the description of an abcess. Does using Listerine quiet the symptoms? Have you seen the dentist at all within the last year? Make sure you keep it clean. It's getting infected somehow.

I would insist on getting a biopsy done from a dental surgeon or pathologist just in case. Maybe just a case of chronic gingivitis (inflammation of your gums) but better be safe than late.

The answer is still the same. See a dentist.
