Of course it is. You can make the two coexist but not many people can.

a lot of people are telling you nonsense on here.
if you can ask these questions then that means you are old enough and competent enough to search for and follow whatever religion or religions you want, because at birth you didn't get to choose, your parents did.
not everyone follows the religion of their parents and that's totally ok, because everyone has their own path.
you can learn from the buddha's teachings as well as jesus, because basically they are the same teachings, and very good teachings---don't let fanatics, whatever religion they claim to be tell you what to do.
if buddhism calls to you, then research it and study it so u can continue to learn.
you can still research and learn from christianity, what i dislike about some people who say they are christians is that they never want to let you open your mind and explore, they think u should only learn one thing.
i am not saying anything bad about christianity, i'm saying people who claim to be christian and then say bad things and make others feel bad for wanting to explore new things, that is not a true christian, because because anyone whatever their background, is not religious if they go around trying to convert people and making them feel bad.
people have to find their own way, so u do what feels right.
there is nothing wrong with going to church and wearing a budddha pendant, it has many blessings for you.
you can also wear a cross and go to a buddhist temple.
and you know what, at the temple they will still welcome you, and no one will even care that you were a cross or still go to church. all they care about is if u can be happy, and can you help others be happy, and you can do both.
so wear what u want!!

I think if you are a good person and you have a good heart, then you should believe in whatever makes you most comfortable. I'm not a Buddhist but I too find alot of the eastern philosophys to be interesting and helpful in leading a peaceful life. I don't believe that anything bad will happen to you if you wear a Buddha pendant.
I can't see why trying to be a good person spiritualy would ever be construed as a bad thing.

To many, Buddhism goes beyond religion and is more of a philosophy or 'way of life'. It is a philosophy because philosophy 'means love of wisdom' and the Buddhist path can be summed up as:
(1) to lead a moral life,
(2) to be mindful and aware of thoughts and actions, and
(3) to develop wisdom and understanding.
there's loving- kindness, compassion, mindfulness, right thoughts & intentions, etc. in all of us. we just need to cultivate it. these good qualities does not only belong to buddhists, there are many (religious or athetists) people out there who possessed these qualities too.
so, wearing a buddha pendant has no intrinsic value in itself, except maybe just a reminder to be mindful.

Depends. If you are Orthodox Christian you are to worship one God. The problem there is that most people think that Buddha is worshipped as a god, he is not in all forms of Buddhism. I am a Buddhist who believes in the teachings of Jesus and Buddha, Buddhism speaks of God and honors *him*. If you are seeing Buddha as a god, I do not think that you can be Orthodox Christian. BUT you certainly can learn from the teachings of Buddha and Jesus and love God. I do. BTW "THOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME" ... Buddha is not a god...just a teacher. It's okay hon, God made Buddha, he won't hate you for reading his words of kindness.

Lol in case you had no longer suggested you're not any more a christian, i ought to trust you to be one in each and every of my religious sisters ie Jehovah's Witnesses :D it really is an same argument we provide each and every of the time! How very astute of you and obviously a deep truth seeker. that is a unsuitable conception also that Jesus died on the go. i'm certain that my religious brothers and sisters will answer this and also furnish you with a close reason it replaced into no longer the go, yet my information of the Greek language is amazingly constrained, so I gained't attempt to confuse you lol. What i comprehend is that he died on a stake. As to the reason catholics (because so a ways as i comprehend, they're the actually ones to positioned on the go) positioned on the go, is by custom. They really trust that to bear in mind Jesus sacrifice, is to positioned on the go and instruct reference; i comprehend this because i replaced into raised a catholic and talked about many who kissed with reverence the go it really is so unsuitable as Jehovah (God), obviously warns us adversarial to idol worship! certain, Jesus did fee christians to bear in mind what he did for us, yet this replaced into to be once a year and imitating how he did it; he set the progression for us to stay with and actually, it really is what we celebrated basically the former day! i think that you need to very much take advantage of having a loose homestead bible learn.

depends, for some it's ok, for others, like the lutheran church, they would look down on it on the grounds of syncretism (mixing different religions/beliefs).
but it's your beliefs, and value system, if a church makes you feel unwelcome, then go find another. there are many (non) orthodox christian churches out there that are open minded, and would welcome you.

Absolutely! You decie what you believe in, and nobody else. How about calling yourself a "Zen Christian"? Would that work? You can do whatever you want. People can criticize you, but they can't stop you.

It does not matter what you wear. Salvation is about what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. He did it all for you. Believe and trust in that. He is alive, Buda is still in the grave. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

There's no law against it. Anyway, even if you were a practicing Christian, it would be ok - it would be a good way to convert the Buddhists.
Love, Jack.
