China has lots of money, we give it to them. Buildings are throw aways for the wealthy who own Wall-Mart. A study was just done that said Wall-Mart could pay a decent wage if they would reduce profit by only one percent. They could also provide health Insurance for all of there employees for 10 years. One percent.
the study was disputed by wall-mart but also said they cost two local jobs lost for every one new at Wall-Mart.

You should realize that Wal-Mart would like someone to take them off their hands. One such Wal-Mart (closed in favor of a Super-Wally a mile away) has been on the market in AR for more than a year; at a bargain basement price. After driving high-price competition out of the area there are far fewer people interested in opening a non-competitive business nearby.

Wal Mart has the lowest prices so to take the property for eminent domain would not work. The Domain laws are only for the good of the people not the small businesses.

that wouldn't be fair for the city, a public entity, to take somebody's private land and give it or even sell it to a private company that would be in competition to the original owner. Unless we lived in a communist country. Then it would be alright.

Walmart simply has lower prices than every other mom and pop store, they can do this with slave labor in china and illegals in the US.
