You could assess what it is that is causing the feelings of not being able to be together. Is it arguing over stupid stuff? Compatibility issues?

Communication is key with your mate. If you can't do that, then there is your answer.

Good luck, my friend. The Dude is always optimistic when people feel love. But The Dude values happiness. Find it and the world is yours.

It is possible to love someone too much that it hurts because you're not together. No one can tell you what point there is when 'enough is enough'. There's a reason why those two people can't be together. Everything happens for a reason, and if it doesn't happen, it didn' thave a reason. Maybe it's not right for them to be together, there can be various reasons. There's always someone for everyone and it just happens he/she isn't the one. Love is complicated, and it's the willingness to fight for what you want that makes everything worth while.

I don't get it... If two people love each other, why can't they be together? Ask yourself that question, because you know it better. Why can't you two seem to be together? Is it because of work? You should add more details.

Depends on different situations. If you are in a relationship and argue or don't get along even though you love each other, you have to decide when you are done selling yourself short for the relationship and move on. Sometimes guilt or fear assists us in staying in a relationship. You will know when to move on.
