Have never driven new Dodge with the 4.7 V8 5 speed automatic.

turning the od off will give you more torque which will help in hills and low speeds for stop and go traffic.

once you are on flat road and reach cruise speeds turn it back on. it will save you gas in the long run.

if you see a hill coming, take your foot off the gas let the rpms settle and turn off the od again to help you with the hill

when you start coming down the hill, to same to turn the od back on.

THE TOW/HAUL IS A OVERDRIVE LOCKOUT.

you dont want to use overdrive when you tow anyway.
