Why don't we deport them? Why do we give them a bed and 3 square meals a day? They are not citizens....I don't understand...

Not only do we give them 3 hots and a cot, we also provide free health care (state medical card), ability to pay no taxes and free education for their children. It is much worse than our leaders would have us believe. Some hospitals are closing down or downsizing because they are over run with non paying illegals. Our police have to deal with all the crime they create and our children suffer in school because they eat up so much of the teachers time. WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN. Tell everyone you know.

We need to do both. If someone kills someone and just gets sent home (to reappear a week later) is that really adequate punishment?

On the other hand, Homeland Security estimates that 302,000 illegals will be brought into state and county jails this year who would not typically be deported. After they serve their sentences, all should be deported.

I can hardly believe in a 'new enforcement' when the rates they deport after long expensive investigations don't approach the deportation rates they would have if they only deported post-prison sentence.

That's an excellent thought out question. I say write a treaty type agreement that they be put in a prison in the country they are from.only we have the prisons that handle with kit gloves. If they show up again in this country, then fine that country as the treaty would dictate, or better yet the firing squad.

Because, we have to prove they are illegally in the country as they have their day in Court. Once that is established, we have to obtain travel documents from the country that we intend to return them to, that is, their native country. Some countries like China, India, Vietnam, etc., rarely cooperate and are unwilling to take their citizens back from us, so, we are stuck with them. In the interim, it is better that they are in jail as opposed to being on the streets.

They do a crime they go to jail. Least we know where they are when they're in jail. So catch them, jail them, deport them.

PLease anyone on here that wants to be educated on this subject-you have to read "State of Emergency" by Pat Buchanan. It's extremely eye-opening and plenty of facts not propaganda. Trust me on this one - you'll thank me.

Theres awar in this country without a shot fired.

You put the criminals is jail, not the law-abiding illegals who work their asses off and pay taxes! US needs us more than we need US.
