because I'm fifteen and could hit a Low G with ease I'm not presently taking vocal lessons because of Marching Band. Time passed and over the past month my voice had allowed my to hit low f easily and during the day when I am wamed up down to a somewhat shakey deep Bb. If I beging singing high and working on my upper register will my lower register begin to dissapear thus making me a Tenor or high baritone. My Dad has a really deep voice too. Down to below deep Bb.

I'm saying If I want to be a bass but work on my high range will I become a tenor and my hopes of my pubescent voice lowering more and low register getting stronger vanish?

Working in the baritone range shouldn't take away from your bass voice; but talk it over with your voice teacher just to be certain. It's interesting that baritones can often reach as low as low G or F and as high as A above middle C. It's not so much the range as it is the quality of your voice. Famous mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne's voice ranged from C below middle C to high C. It was something amazing.

What is your question? So... you may be a bass. And if you work on it... you can be a tenor. You have a wide range. Most people do. Have fun!

Congratulations!!! Because you sing well, you can become a bass...a large mouth or small mouth? I've never heard of a singing fish.
