I have a Hewlett Packard with Windows98...it's not great but it serves my purposes. I have to most recent WMPlayer but it won't play downloaded .avi files and I don't know how to get it to do that.

the program i use is called winamp.... go to www.winamp.com and download the player it plays everything including movies
