If it's about sex.. YES.. if she likes it..
If it's not about sex.. then that's ABUSIVE.. This is definately not a way to control her BAD BEHAVIOR. You suppose to treat her with care and love.. not with violent. She's your partner. Not your child.

I am not surprised at this question....but what I am surprised at are some of the answers. Are you people just joking around? I hope so.
The thought of spanking anyone (unless it is sexual play, which some like) to prevent future bad bahavior is barbaric and absolutely stupid.

spankings between husband and wife should only be used in a loving sexual way.
you are her husband her partner not her father
loving guidence is worth more

No. This will only encourage worse behavior.At first she will think its some kind of foreplay, but once she senses that its meant to be discipline disguised as foreplay you will loose much ground. She may even spank you for spanking her.

i used to give an exgf pre-emptive spankings,and id spank her hard for breaking rules,or cheat on her diet or..about anything we agree she shouldnt do. Id do it hard enough to actually hurt..but she liked it and appreciated it..even got in trouble on purpose.
used to smack her hand to,like if we were at school or something,and i caught her picking at the skin around her fingernails (she used to do it excessively)
