Every cat and dog I've ever known like to drink there, oddly. My young cat fell in once, and that didn't end the desire! I never use bowl cleaner and try to leave the seat cover down. Of course this is filthy with bacteria, but failed to keep first cat out of this, most of the time, and he lived to 23 yrs.! Flushing the toilet usually doesn't scare the cat, but fascinates them, as they love to watch the swirling action. One of my cats liked this so much he learned to flush it himself!

Well the obvious answer is to put the toilet seat down. To be honest the toilet bowl water if probably cleaner that the cat water bowl if you think about it. Most people clean there bathrooms on a regular basis as apposed to people that just ensure they keep the cats water filled not cleaned out where all the bacteria is building up. Both sides of this could be argued. So basically shut the lid and keep the cats water clean. They have those water purifying bowls not that keeps the water fresh and always flowing. Kind of pricey but if you love your cats like most of us do, they are worth it.

When you see the cat drinking from the toilet flush the the toilet and the cat will get a scaire hopefully she won't go back, but just simply shut the lid.
Cats don't normally drink from the toilet but it won't hurt them, you can get this stuff at pet shops that you just put into the toilet and makes a really bad tast for the cat, that will work.
Good Luck.

Hi there...everyone's answer to keep the lid down is the best solution. If there's any bleach/cleaning/dye tablets used in the tank they could accidentally ingest this which would make them quite ill. Even if nothing is left in the tank, the water isn't the cleanest, but cats and dogs alike find it more appealing because it's fresher than their bowel of water which sits all day. Consider a water fountain which circulates the water to keep it fresh.

Cats like toilet water because it's cool, and it's 'live water' meaning it isn't sitting in a bowl all way. Close the lid of the toilet, and give your cat a pet fountain, occassionally adding small chunks of ice. They love cool water.

Does your cat ever take its paw and move it's water around in the water bowl, while drinking? I was told that Cats like fresh water, and not to let it set until it is gone. To freshen it up through out the day. My cat use to drink water that dripped from the bath tub faucet, if it wasn't turned off good.

keep the seat down. some cats prefer really fresh water so seeing as how the toilet is flushed alot the cat sees it as a constant fresh supply. make sure you provide a fresh bowl of water everyday.

Keep the toilet lid down. I did when my cats were kittens because they were so tiny- and it's easier to keep them out of mischief that way.

I use the Agora free shopping cart, and manual credit card option. This is a much cheaper approach. If you are just starting out, and have a manual and cheapest credit card system, then go this way. You see, your website won't be breaking sales records at first.

Then buy Google Ads.
