My sister stole my pacifier and I will have to get my jaw broken. Nothing to do with a wound.

An open bite is caused by either:
1- high development of your upper jaw.
2- low developpement of your lower jaw.
3- a miss-alignment of the teeth.

If the person having the open bite is young, it can be corrected with orthodontic appliances or with braces.

If the person is older, the open bite can be corrected with braces if the problem is light. But it can need surgery in extreme cases.

The cost can start from $1500 for a simple appliance, or up to $15000 for surgery and braces.

I'm assuming you mean a bite on your body somewhere, because I dont know of any condition called open bite. Anyway it depends on the severity of the wound and what animal(and condition of the animal) bit you.
