ummmmm......let me think about this.....ummmm YES....... But then again it would be virtually impossible for him to get married and have it be valid in the Church's eyes.
A little explanation........When you get married in the Catholic Church, the person performing the Marriage Ceremony, usually a priest, deacon, or the like, will need your Baptismal Certificate, if you are Catholic, on file so that everything is in order.
On the Baptismal Certificate, it will indicate several things. Obviously the 1st is the date when you were Baptized. The others will be when you receive your 1st Communion, Confirmation, and when, or if, you received any other Sacraments, like Holy Orders or Marriage. This is because the Church wants to make sure nothing is overlooked or so that someone can't lie about anything.
Also, to have a valid marriage in the Catholic Church, you need to be properly married in the Catholic Church.
So like I said, it is virtually impossible for a Catholic Priest to be ordained and then become married.

Here is an interesting story for you. My great-mother had an adoptive brother (they were a large catholic family.) And her brother was the son of a catholic priest and a catholic nun. This was way back at the turn of the century. (1900's) Both still remained a catholic priest and a nun. When I was growing up, I went to a catholic boarding school. My best friend was a boy my age named "Gizzard" (seriously his nickname, I will not use his real name) and I didn't learn until we were much older (about to graduate) that his Father was THE FATHER of our church and his mother was our mother superior! By the way, they both still hold their titles, and Gizzard is a catholic father now as well.

He wouldn't necessarily be kicked out of the Church, but of course, it's not allowed, and he'd be not fully in good standing.
If a priest "marries" without having formally left the priesthood already and gotten permission to marry, he and his gal can go through a ceremony but the Church will not count it as valid.
If he stays married, he won't be allowed to function as a priest, and he should go through these big Church procedures to be returned to the status of a layman, which isn't an easy process.

If Catholic Priests aren't kicked out for molesting little boys, I doubt if the organization will do much about them marrying and fathering children...

<> look at it this way - if the Church denied marrying the couple, they might nonetheless be living in sin. might they not? What does that resolve? not something. <> do you be responsive to the couple nicely adequate to be responsive to notwithstanding if or not they repented of their sin? the reality they have been living in sin could o.k. have given the couple the impetus to get married interior the 1st place. <> The Bible teaches mercy and compassion. <> You look putting too lots emphasis on the Bible and not who inspired the Bible.

Since an Ordained man cannot validly Marry in the Catholic Church. He would be required to legally divorce and could be disciplined. He would be required by law to support the child.

Once he married and had a child he would not longer be a priest for that is one of the conditions and more than likely he'd be kicked out of the priesthood.

ABSOLUTELY!!! He made a vow to Jesus Christ, to his Church and his congregation to serve and he knew what he was getting into, he had a choice to back out but he didn't so he's stuck unless he voluntarily leaves. If he did that he would be excommunicated from the Church and would no longer be a Priest.
