Vomiting is a sign of an impending systemic allergic reaction. If your mouth itches or your throat feel tight after eating raw fruits, you really need to see a doctor about getting tested for food allergies and you should carry an Epi-Pen.
Sometimes, less commonly, you could have severe environmental allegies to grass, weed and tree pollens. As these plants pollinate, the pollen makes it's way onto fruits and veggies.... these pollens don't wash off so easily so when you ingest them you could be having a reaction to the pollens and not to the fruits themselves.
Different plants pollinate at different times in different parts of the country. In the Northeast it is Ragweed season right now. Celery is a no-no if you are allergic to ragweed. The Southern plain states pollinate grass pretty much year round.

you're just a pansy. there is nothing wrong with the fruit, it's you. be one with the fruit yo. just try different fruits. if all else fails, you should probably just stick with multivitamins and hide the shamful fact that you "can't hold down raw fruits" (as if you can hold down fruits once they've been cooked! is there such thing as eating fruits that are not raw?!)

It could be that your body does not break down the enzymes in the fruit. Are you lactose intolerant? My husband is and he cannot eat raw fruits.
