I allow my 2 black labs to eat my leftover carrots we don't eat and they love them. I don't feed them a bunch, but my vet told me to give them green beans or carrots anytime I have some left over. Here's some info I copied and pasted here for you:
Should my dog eat carrots?
Question My dog loves carrots. Is there any reason why I shouldn't give carrots to them?
Answer Carrots are fine, but you need to keep them to less than 10 percent of the total diet. If you give your dogs too many, you could unbalance the diet. Be sure to give them in small pieces or that they are chewed thoroughly to prevent blockages as well.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7Fb
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Carrots are fab for dogs, my vet put my springer on a diet of dry food and carrots every other week alternating with dry food and spinach. Not only is this diet good for there bodies, but its great for there hair and skin as well!

Carrots are perfectly safe for your pet. my dog loves raw carrot, but is less fond of cooked carrot. Just treat it like you would any special treat and don't let them over indulge too much past their normal eating habits and routine.

Gave my dogs carrots and green beans mixed with their food tonight. It's also recommended to give them canned pumpkin. I give my dog parts of my salad as I fix it. They line up and I toss for them to catch. Told not to give onion or mushrooms. Mine also like tomatoes, cucumbers, the crunchy ribs part of romaine lettuce, watermelon and more. Not broccoli fans, but that's about it! Additionally, the carrots may help floss their teeth, a bit, and are a low fat treat.

Carrots make a great treat for dogs. Try green beans, too. Dogs love them, and they are a lot healthier than most other dog treats. Everything in moderation...........
